Virginia is a green, literary floral inspired by the film and novel “The Hours” — a single part of a single day in English spring, spent in the company of Virginia Woolf and her Mrs. Dalloway (“Mrs. Dalloway said she would buy the flowers herself”). Part of Prin Lomros's LGBTIQ Series, it's contemplative, evocative, and quietly beautiful.

It opens green and dewy — grass, fig leaf, artemisia, angelica, and cypress — like the English countryside on a cool spring morning. The heart turns floral and herbal, weaving galbanum, gardenia, wildflowers, lily-of-the-valley, dandelion, chrysanthemum, and black elder into a soft, pastoral bouquet. The base is an unusual, powdery one — paper, oak, suede, vetiver, and olibanum — that captures the hushed atmosphere of a writer's study. Understated and reflective, Virginia beautifully evokes the world in which Woolf wrote.
