How we buy

We work with each house directly. We place the order, they ship to us, and the stock sits with us in California until it goes out to you. There is no middle layer, which means nothing we sell has passed through hands we can’t account for.

It also means we can tell you things a reseller can’t: which release a bottle is from, what a house changed between batches, and when something is genuinely sold out rather than quietly substituted.

The houses we carry

Most of these houses are small — a perfumer, a lab, a few hundred bottles at a time. Several have never been sold in the United States before. That is the whole reason Glin Dee exists.

Why it matters

Fragrance is one of the easiest things in the world to counterfeit and one of the hardest to verify by eye. A grey-market bottle can be the real juice stored badly for two years, a refill, or a fake with a convincing box — and you often can’t tell until it’s on your skin.

Buying from the house removes the guesswork. What you smell is what the perfumer intended, at the strength they intended, from a bottle that has been kept out of heat and light the whole way.

Try it before you commit

Every fragrance we carry is available in 2ml. We would rather you spend $5 finding out a scent isn’t for you than $180 discovering it at home. Samples come from the same stock as the full bottles — same batch, same shelf.

If something isn’t right

If a bottle arrives damaged, looks wrong, or smells like nothing you recognize, tell us. We’ll look at it with you and make it right — and because we buy direct, we can take it back to the house if it turns out to be a production issue.
