The fragrance “Star Trails” draws inspiration from the song “Sparkle,” a soundtrack from the Japanese romantic fantasy anime film “Your Name” (Kimi no Na wa). A particular verse of the song goes:

“もどろみの中で 生温いコーラに

madoromi no naka denama-nurui koora ni

ここでないどこかを 夢見たよ

koko de nai dokoka wo yumemita yo

教室の窓の外に

kyoushitsu no mado no soto ni

電車に揺られ 箱慣れる朝に

densha ni yurare hakobareru asa ni”

which translates to:

“Amid the dreams,

In the lukewarm cola,

I saw a dream

Of somewhere that isn’t here.

Outside the classroom window,

On the swaying train,

In the mornings carried away.”
