Sangre Dulce — “sweet blood” — is Prin Lomros at his most cinematic and uncompromising. Inspired by the surreal delirium of Alejandro Jodorowsky's Santa Sangre and the hallucinatory frenzy of Gaspar Noé's Climax, it's what Prin himself calls a sweet, intoxicated poison — not a traditional gourmand, but an avant-garde one that seduces as much as it unsettles.

It opens on an intoxicating sangria accord, fruity and boozy, quickly wrapped in the hypnotic sweetness of brown sugar, honey, cinnamon, and maple syrup. Beneath the sugar, smoky tobacco and tangy pomegranate add depth and a seductive contrast, while ylang-ylang lends an exotic, tropical-floral shimmer and benzoin and Peru balsam bring resinous warmth. Then comes the twist that makes it unforgettable: a thread of civet, animalic and a little dangerous, pulling the whole composition into shadow over an earthy patchouli base.
